2020 Limousin Regional Shows Canceled
2020 Limousin Regional Shows Canceled
North American Limousin Junior Regional shows have been canceled due to the risks associated with COVID-19. The decision was made based on the current status of host states, surrounding state participants and current federal guidelines regarding large gatherings. The North American Limousin Foundation and the North American Limousin Junior Association have concluded that your safety is still our number one priority with these 3 regional events only a month away. This announcement pertains to Eastern Regional, Gray, Tennessee; Heartland Regional, Council Bluffs, Iowa; and Western Regional, Klamath Falls, Oregon.
The decision to cancel the regional shows was a unanimous decision by the NALF Senior Board. Safety for exhibitors and attendees remains a major concern moving forward. NALF will immediately begin to refund all regional show entry fees to exhibitors over the coming week.
Plans are moving forward for Junior Nationals in West Monroe, Louisiana. The National Junior Limousin Show & Congress will follow guidelines set forth by the federal government, the state of Louisiana, and the city of West Monroe as it relates to COVID-19.
Restrictions and regulations continue to be fluid. Enter with confidence and be assured that if NJLSC 2020 is canceled due to COVID-19, any and all entry fees will be refunded.
The NALF board is also waiving the late entry fee cost this year. The late entry deadline is May 15 at 11:59 p.m. We will accommodate animals sold in the Great American Pie Sale and Hall-Coyote Hills Production Sale. If you purchase an animal in either of these sales and wish to enter NJLSC 2020, fill out a paper entry form and mail it to the NALF office. With your entry form, include a copy of your lot in the sale catalog. The entry deadline for these animals is June 5. Entry fees will be $80.
