2020 ILC Registration Opens Today
The 2020 International Limousin Congress (ILC) is headed back to the breed’s Homeland—France. The country has held the Congress four times in the past, including the inaugural event in 1973. The fifth installment is scheduled for September 17-26, 2020.
Registration for the event opens today, October 16 and can be accessed at: ILC REGISTRATION
The ILC is the world parent organization for Limousin Associations across the globe. There are presently 26 affiliated countries, representative of the five continents. Every two years an ILC is held in a nominated country. The main purpose and objectives of the ILC are to network with the world’s elite Limousin breeders while coordinating international research efforts; encouraging uniform recording and registration policies; and to highlight and honor efforts that have been made for the benefit of the Limousin breed on an international and domestic level.
The 2018 ILC held it’s 10-day event in Colorado and was hosted by the North American Limousin Foundation. The Congress presents a chance to see Limousin cattle in different countries and how they fit into the respective geography, system and markets. The ILC prides itself on being an event that not only serves as an opportunity to exchange industry and research knowledge, but also a memorable experience that will leave you captivated with a new culture and heading home with lasting friendships.
